The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition has received a notification of a concentration concerning the acquisition of the share capital of XBT Holding S.A. by OEP VIII, L.P., One Equity Partners VIII-A, L.P. and One Equity Partners VIII-B SCSp.
OEP VIII, L.P., One Equity Partners VIII-A, L.P. and One Equity Partners VIII-BSCSp are funds managed and ultimately advised by One Equity Partners. One Equity Partners is a middle market private equity firm focused on transformative combinations in the industrial, healthcare and technology sectors in North America and Europe.
The Target in the proposed merger is XBT Holding S.A., a limited liability company duly registered under the laws of Luxembourg. Target is a privately held global provider of hosting, network solutions and network development operating in the automated Infrastructure as-a-Service (IaaS) space. Specifically, Target offers the following services: Bare Metal Cloud, CDN (Content Distribution Network), VPS (Virtual Private Servers), Co-location Services, Dedicated Services, IP Transit, Web Hosting Services and Domain Name Registration Services.
