The Commission for the Protection of Competition received a notification of a proposed concentration by the company Alfa Laval Nordic AS (hereafter “Alfa Laval”), in accordance with Article 13 of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law (Number 22(I)/99) (hereinafter the «Law»). The transaction concerns the acquisition of the 100% of the share capital of Frank Mohn AS (hereinafter "Frank Mohn ") by Alfa Laval.
Alfa Laval is a private limited liability company, duly registered under the laws of Norway. This company is a global supplier of products and solutions regarding heat transport purposes, separation and fluid handling. The main products of Alfa Laval are heat exchangers, separators, pumps and valves which are used in areas such as energy, environment, food and pharmaceuticals.
Frank Mohn is a private limited liability company, duly registered under the laws of Norway. The said company is active in the development, production, sales and after sales service of pumps in relation to maritime sector and the oil and gas industry. Additionally, after an internal reorganization, Frank Mohn will operate and invest in industries such as media and properties.
