The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cyprus has appointed on the 20.12.2011 Mrs Loukia Christodoulou as Chairwoman of the Commission for the Protection of Competition. Mrs Christodoulou was a Member of the Commission from 18.05.2008 up to 19.12.2011
Ms. Loukia Christodoulou was born on the 31 July 1968 in Limassol. She holds a degree in B.A. Law (Hons) of the University of Kent at Canterbury and an LLM on International Commercial Law of the same University. She worked as a lawyer for a period of 8 years in established Law Firms in Limassol. Also, during the period 2000 up to 2007 she was member of the Tax Tribunal of the Republic of Cyprus, serving for two consecutive terms.
The Council of Ministers has appointed as Members of the Commission on 20.12.2012, Messrs Dimitris Pitsillides, Leontios Vryonides, Eleni Karaoli and Costas Melanides. The following persons were appointed as substitute Members of the Commission: Mr Nikos Damianou, Mr Andreas Karides, Ms Eleni Christodoulidou and Mr Theodosis Xadjitofi.
