The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition received on behalf of Unilever Overseas Holdings Ltd and P.M.Tseriotis Ltd, notification of a proposed concentration according to section 13 of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law (Number 22(I)/99), concerning an agreement for the creation of a new company named Unilever Tseriotis Cyprus Ltd.
The Unilever Overseas Holdings Ltd is a holding company with no operations, duly registered in the United Kingdom and which belongs to the Group of companies of Unilever Plc, which is active in the production and marketing of consumer products, personal and household care products, food and ice cream.
P.M.Tseriotis Ltd is a private limited liability company, duly registered in the Republic of Cyprus, which is active in the supply of services, investment management and real estate. Tseriotis Consumer Goods Ltd is a subsidiary of P.M.Tseriotis Ltd and operates in the sale and distribution of cleaning products for household use, personal care products and ice-cream.
In addition, the Group of companies of Unilever and the Group of companies of Tseriotis have also created a company named Unilever PMT Ltd, which operates in the manufacture and sale of household and personal care products distributed by P.M.Tseriotis Ltd.
