The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition has received a notification of a concentration, according to Section 10 (4) of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law of 2014, concerning the acquisition by Onex Corporation (hereafter “ONEX”), through Spray Parent, Inc. (hereafter “Spray”) of the share capital of PVHC Holding Corp (hereafter “PVHC”).
Onex is a company in Canada, it is listed in the Toronto stock exchange and it invests in private equity funds. The companies that are controlled by those private equity funds are linked to ONEX and are active in various economic activities including the manufacturing of electronics, healthcare imaging, health and human services, insurance services, packaging materials and services, business and information services, aerospace automation, tools and accessories, hire and management of aircrafts, construction materials, holiday resorts, hospital management services, survival gear and industrial manufacturing.
Spray is a special vehicle company established for the purpose of this transaction and is duly registered under the laws of Delaware. Spray is controlled by ONEX through its subsidiaries.
PVHC is a company duly registered under the laws of Delaware.
