Century DE Buyer LLC and Century UK Buyer Ltd are special purpose vehicles, having no prior business activities, incorporated to act as acquisition vehicles for the purposes of this transaction. These companies are indirectly owned by KKR & Co. Inc.
KKR & Co. Inc. is a global investment firm offering alternative asset management, capital markets and insurance solutions. In particular, KKR & Co. Inc. finances investment funds that invest in private equity, credit and real estate assets and has strategic partners who manage investment funds.
The Target is an international publishing company mainly engaged in the publication and sale of English-language commercial books to wholesale and retail customers.
