The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition has received notification of a concentration, according to Section 10 (4) of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law of 2014, concerning the acquisition by Sidel Participation SAS of the share capital of Pet Engineering S.r.l.
Sidel Participations SAS is registered under the Laws of France and is a leading provider of equipment and services for packaging liquids, foods, personal and home care products in polyethylene terephthalate (hereafter “PET”), can, glass and other materials. Through the group, Sidel is active in various sectors, including the equipment for the production of milk and animal husbandry.
Pet Engineering S.r.l is registered under the Laws of Italy. Pet Engineering S.r.l is active in the design of PET packaging equipment and PET blowing moulds with special focus on design packaging development services, leading to the production of PET blowing moulds and line conversions and services.
