The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition has received notification of a concentration, pursuant to Section 10 of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law of 2014, concerning the proposed acquisition by Netlana Investments Ltd of part of the share capital of Polyclinic Ygia Public Company Ltd via Mildena Investments Ltd.
Netlana Investments Ltd is a private limited liability company, duly registered under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. This company is active in investments and is owned by Nestlik Investment Ltd (special purpose vehicle), which is owned by ECM Partners Cyprus Ltd, which is controlled by ECM Partners Inc. ECM Partners Inc is an institutional investment firm, focused on the acquisition of distressed assets and by implementing specialized operating systems, economic and other policies and procedures, as well as by investing equity, aims to make these targets profitable and operationally more efficient and effective enterprises.
Mildena Investments Ltd is a company duly registered under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and is a special purpose vehicle. This company has no commercial activity and is wholly owned by Netlana Investments Ltd.
The Target in the proposed concentration is Polyclinic Ygia Public Company Ltd, which is a company duly registered under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. The Target operates through its subsidiaries in the market for the provision of private hospital services.
