The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition on the 26th of November 2009 received a notification of a proposed concentration according to Article 13 of the Control of Concentration between Enterprises Law (Number 22(I)/99), concerning an agreement by which OJSC Kamaz will acquire 50% of FKT Holding GmbH, an enterprise which belongs to Daimler AG. In addition the subsidiary company of OJSC Kamaz, FUSO Kamaz Trucks Rus 000 will transfer all its activities to FKT Holding GmbH.
- Daimler AG main activities concentrate on the production and sale of cars, trucks, minivans and buses around the world. Moreover, the above mentioned company offers a series of financial services activities in relations to vehicles.
- OJSC Kamaz’s core operations are production and sale of trucks in the Russian Federation and abroad.
- FKT Holding GmbH is a holding company, established in Austria.
- FUSO Kamaz Trucks Rus 000 is active in the production and distribution of Mitsubishi and Three Diamonds Trucks.
