Τhe Commission for the Protection of Competition received a notification of a proposed concentration by Demstar Automotive Ltd in accordance with Section 13 of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law (Number 22(I)/99). The transaction concerns the acquisition of the dealership of PEUGOT vehicles and motorcycles and PIAGGIO and GILERA motorcycles owned by MPM Eurocars Ltd from Demstar Automotive Ltd.
Demstar Automotive Ltd is registered in accordance with the provisions of the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and is activated in the import and sale of vehicles, motorcycles, outboard engines and spare parts from the manufacturer HONDA, the operation of repair and maintenance stations and the sale of boats.
MPM Eurocars Ltd is registered in accordance with the provisions of the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and is activated in the import and sale of vehicles and motorcycles from the manufacturer PEUGOT, the import and sale of PIAGGIO and GILERA motorcycles and spare parts from these manufacturers, and in the operation of repair and maintenance stations.
