On 30 October 2014, the Hellenic Competition Commission (HCC) and the Cypriot Commission for the Protection of Competition (CPC) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation whereby they commit to enhance their existing cooperation within the European Competition Network to enforce national and EU competition rules.
The Memorandum was signed by Mrs. Loukia Christodoulou, Chairperson of the Commission for the Protection of Competition and Mr. Demetrios Kyritsakis, Chairperson of the Hellenic Competition Commission.
In the Memorandum, the authorities agree to exchange experience and knowledge in the field of competition and to share expertise through seminars, exchange programmes and study visits. The Memorandum also lays down key principles for exchanging information regarding activities of businesses/undertakings in each geographical territory.
