Τhe Commission for the Protection of Competition received a notification of a proposed concentration by Unicars Ltd and Latomia Pharmakas Public Company Ltd in accordance with Section 13 of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law (Number 22(I)/99). The transaction concerns the acquisition of 50% of the share capital of Man Sales & Services (Cyprus) Ltd from Unicars Ltd.
Unicars Ltd is registered in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act Cap. 113 and its main activities are the import and sale of cars and spare parts, the operation and maintenance repair stations.
Latomia Pharmakas Public Company Ltd is registered in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act Cap. 113 and its main activities are in quarrying, manufacturing and supply ready mix concrete, supply asphalt concrete, the purchase of land for purposes of segregation in land for development and also the import and sale of trucks and buses by MAN through its subsidiary company and operation of repair and maintenance stations.
Man Sales & Services (Cyprus) Ltd is registered in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act Cap 113 and its main activities are the import and the sale of MAN trucks and buses and spare parts and the operation of repair and maintenance station for trucks and buses.
