The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition has received a notification of a concentration, according to Section 10 (4) of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law of 2014, concerning the joint control of the UCPIH Ltd by The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. and Dragon Capital Investments Ltd.The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. is duly registered under the laws of the State of New York, U.S.A. and it is listed at the New York Stock Exchange. The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. is active in the fields of investment banking, finance and investment management and provides a wide range of financial services on a wide and diversified customer base, including companies, financial institutions, governments and individuals.
The Dragon Capital Investments Ltd is registered in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act Cap. 113 and it is part of the Dragon Capital Group. The Dragon Capital Investments Ltd is active in the field of investment and financial services, offering a comprehensive range of fixed-income and stakeholder sales, research, investment banking, private equity and asset management for institutional, corporate and private.
The UCPIH Ltd is the target and it is registered in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act Cap. 113. The target is not active on any market at the present. The target has been established for the purposes of acquisition, management and subsequent sale of select investment-grade cash-generating commercial properties in Ukraine in order to generate ongoing Cash Distributions to the shareholders from rent proceeds and to achieve substantial capital gain upon Exit.
