The Commission for the Protection of Competition received a notification of a proposed concentration, concerning the acquisition of part of the share capital of Axtmann Aviation Holding GmbH, by Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company B.S.C.(c)
Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company B.S.C.(c) is an independent holding company owned by the Kingdom of Bahrain. The said company holds the share capital of several investment companies, mainly in Bahrain, which operate in various sectors such as aluminum, aviation, tourism, etc.
Axtmann Aviation Holding GmbH is a holding company, duly registered under the laws of Germany. The subsidiaries of this company offer air ambulance services, charter and management and special missions for the United Nations, as well as line and base maintenance services of the fleet of another subsidiary.
