The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition has received a notification of a concentration concerning the acquisition of the aircraft cleaning divisions of L.G.S. Handling Ltd and Swissport Cyprus Ltd by S & L Airport Services Ltd.
L.G.S. Handling Limited is a company duly registered under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and operates at the airports of Larnaca and Paphos by providing ground handling services. Specifically, the services provided are the following: (a) ground administrative services and ground services supervision, (b) passenger handling services, (c) baggage handling, (d) cargo handling, (e) runway services, (f) aircraft cleaning and tidying, (g) ground transportation.
Swissport Cyprus Limited is a company duly registered under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and operates at the airports of Larnaca and Paphos by providing ground handling services. Specifically, the services provided are the following: (a) ground administrative services and ground services supervision, (b) passenger handling services, (c) baggage handling, (d) cargo handling, (e) runway services, (f) aircraft cleaning and tidying, (g) ground transportation.
S & L Airport Services Ltd is a company duly registered under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and jointly controlled by L.G.S. Handling Limited and Swissport Cyprus Limited. S & L Airport Services Ltd upon completion of the merger will be active in the provision of aircraft cleaning services and equipment and aircraft ground handling machineries.
