The Commission for the Protection of Competition received a notification of a proposed concentration regarding the acquisition of part of the share capital of Fairways Automotive Holdings Ltd by Bank of Cyprus Public Limited Company, through its subsidiary Landanafield Properties Ltd. The rest of the share capital of Fairways Automotive Holdings Ltd will continue to be owned by Fairways Automotives Ltd.
Fairways Automotive Holdings Ltd is a company duly registered in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and is active in the import, trade, sale, distribution, representation and marketing of Renault, Mitsubishi and Dacia automobiles. The said company belongs to Fairways Automotives Ltd.
Landanafield Properties Ltd is a company duly registered in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and has been created with the sole purpose of acquiring part of the share capital of Fairways Automotive Holdings Ltd. The said company belongs to the Bank of Cyprus Public Limited Company.
The Bank of Cyprus Public Limited Company is a company duly registered in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and is active in the banking and finance sector.
