The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition announces that it has received a notification of concentration by Faerch A/S, regarding the acquisition of the share capital of M.C.P. Performance Plastic Ltd.
Faerch A/S is a company duly registered in accordance with the laws of Denmark. Faerch is a supplier of sustainable protective packaging solutions for the food industry. Faerch's product portfolio covers four business sectors of packaging solutions, namely ready meals, fresh meat, food-to-go and dairy products. Faerch's customers are food producers, retailers and food service providers worldwide.
M.C.P. Performance Plastic Ltd is a company duly registered in accordance with the laws of Israel and is active in the high-quality production of thermoplastic packaging solutions for the food industry and retail trade, in the USA, the Middle East and Europe. The Targets’ product portfolio conist of the following packaging solutions: (i) ready meals, (ii) fresh meat, (iii) frozen food, (iv) airlines and (iv) bakery. The Target offers a wide range of discs from CPET (Polyethylene Crystal Terephthalate), APET (Amorphous Polyethylene Terephthalate) and PP (Polypropylene).
