COMMISSION FOR THE PROTECTION OF COMPETITION

The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition has received a notification of a concentration, concerning the acquisition assets related to the International Private Medical Insurance business of Aetna Global Benefits (UK) Ltd by Allianz SE, via AWP Health & Life SA.

Allianz SE is a company duly registered under the laws of Germany. Allianz is the holdings company of the Allianz Group of companies which is an international provider to financial services, active mainly in the insurance and management of assets sectors.
Η AWP Health & Life SA is a company duly registered under the laws of France and is a subsidiary of Allianz. This company is authorized to write medical, life and accident insurance contracts.

The target in this transaction concerns the assets related to the International Private Medical Insurance business of Aetna Global Benefits (UK) Ltd, a company which is a provider of International Private Medical Insurance.
