The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition received, on behalf of Alpha Bank SA and Emporiki Bank of Greece SA, notification of a proposed concentration according to Article 13 of the Control of Concentration between Enterprises Law (Number 22(I)/99), concerning the merging of the two companies.

The principal activities of Alpha Bank SA are the provision of financial services and insurance services.

The principal activities of Emporiki Bank of Greece SA are the provision of financial services.
