The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition announces that it has received a notification of concentration by Blakstone Inc. regarding the acquisition of the share capital of Project ABC Holdco (Jersey) Ltd, through Lunar Bidco Ltd.
Lunar Bidco Ltd is a special purpose vehicles which had no previous activities and which was established to act as the acquiring company for the purposes of this transaction. Lunar Bidco Ltd is controlled by funds consulted/managed by Blackstone Inc. affiliated companies.
Blackstone is a global alternative asset manager listed in the New York Stock Exchange which operates as an investment management company.
Project ABC Holdco (Jersey) Ltd is a leading company and does not operate. Target owns all the shares of Moonbug Entertainment Limited, a media company, which creates, produces and licenses videos and audio content for children (produces, and distributes children's video and audio content).
