COMMISSION FOR THE PROTECTION OF COMPETITION

The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition on the 23rd of February 2012 received on behalf of the company Geo 3 & Co. S.C.A a notification of a proposed concentration according to Article 13 of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law (Number 22(I)/99), regarding the acquisition by Geo 3 & Co. S.C.A of GlobeOp Financial Services S.A.

Geo 3 & Co. S.C.A., is a limited partnership registered in Luxembourg for the purpose of the agreement. It is an investment vehicle that is indirectly 100% owned by TPG Partners VI-AIV, L.P.

TPG Partners VI-AIV, L.P is affiliated with other funds and they all comprise TPG Group. TPG Group is present in Cyprus through the company Grohe that manufactures sanitary and water technology products and through the company Sabre that specialises in travel technology.

Globeop Financial Services S.A is a company registered in Luxembourg (Société Anonyme). Its main activity is to offer middle και back-office services and fund administration services for hedge funds and treasury functions of other financial institutions. These services include record keeping, accounting and reporting services.
