The Commission for the Protection of Competition received a notification of a concentration concerning the creation of a joint venture between C.A. Papaellinas Ltd and HOB House of Beauty Ltd.
C.A. Papaellinas Ltd is a company duly registered in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Cyprus and operates in the import, distribution and sale of medicines and cosmetics as well as consumer products.
HOB House of Beauty Ltd is a company duly registered in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Cyprus, the main business of which is the importation and wholesale of cosmetics.
The merger concerns the creation of a new company, which will take part of the activities of C.A. Papaellinas Ltd and part of the activities of HOB House of Beauty Ltd within the Republic of Cyprus, which are exclusively related to products that the companies acquire from the multinational company Coty Inc. Specifically the merger concerns the import, sale, distribution and trade of Coty Inc products within the Republic of Cyprus.
