The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition received, according to Section 13 of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law (Number 22(I)/99), a notification concerning the creation of the company Amathina Holdings Ltd by the companies Amathus Public Ltd, Elerfield Holdings Ltd and the Muskita Group to finance the acquisition of the Amathus Beach Hotel in Limassol through the company Amathina Luxury Hotels Ltd. The management of the hotel will be granted to the Μ.Α. Luxury Hotels Ltd.
Amathus Public Ltd is a public limited company registered in the Cyprus Stock Exchange. It owns and manages hotels. It represents airline companies. Is active in the sale of organized tours, it represents and brokerage of shipping lines, custom’s clearance, movement of cargo and sale of cruises.
Elerfield Holdings Ltd is registered in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act Cap. 113. It was established for the purposes of the proposed transaction.
The Muskita Group though its M.A. Luxury Hotels Ltd and Muskita Hotels Ltd owns and manages hotels.
The Amathina Holdings Ltd and Amathina Luxury Hotels Ltd are registered in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act Cap. 113. They were established for the purposes of the proposed transaction.
