COMMISSION FOR THE PROTECTION OF COMPETITION

The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition announces that it has received a notification of a concentration from L’oreal S.A., concerning the acquisition by the latter of specific commercial activities in relation to Thierry Mugler and Azzaro brands which belong to Clarins SAS.

L'Oréal S.A. is a company duly registered under the laws of France and is the parent entity of L’oreal Group. The said group is active in the market of cosmetics and beauty products.

The target in this concentration is the fragrance business associated with Azzaro and Thierry Mugler brands,, the derivative products from the perfume business as well as Thierry Mugler’s fashion and apparel commercial activities.
