The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition has received a notification of a concentration according to Section 10 (4) of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law of 2014, concerning the acquisition of the share capital of Vivera Topholding B.V. by JBS S.A., via Plantera Holdings B.V.
Vivera Topholding B.V. is a company duly registered in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Vivera Topholding B.V is active in the manufacturing of plant-based products, nuggets and tofu.
JBS S.A is a company duly registered in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. JBS S.A is active in the production of beef products, primary and processed chicken and pork products, beef productd, as well as ready-to-eat meals. JBS S.A. is also active in the areas of biodiesel, collagen, natural casings for cold cuts, hygiene and cleaning, metal packaging, transportation, and solid waste management solutions.
Plantera Holdings B.V. is wholly owned company of JBS S.A., and created to acquire Vivera Topholding B.V.
