COMMISSION FOR THE PROTECTION OF COMPETITION

The Commission for the Protection of Competition received a notification by National Bank of Greece S.A. in accordance with Section 13 of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law (Number 22(I)/99) in regards to a proposed concentration. The proposed concentration concerns the acquisition of the share capital of Eurobank Ergasias S.A. by the National Bank of Greece S.A. through a Public Offer.
