The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition has received notification of a concentration by CVC Capital Partners SICAV-FIS S.A. (hereinafter «CVC»), regarding the acquisition of part of the share capital and the sole control of Webpros Holdco B.V. (hereinafter «WebPros»), via CVC Capital Partners VII (hereinafter «CVC Fund VII»).
CVC is a company duly registered under the laws of Luxembourg. The company, together with its subsidiaries and affiliated companies constitute the “CVC Network”. Their activities pertain to the provision of investment advice and/or investment management on behalf of certain investment funds and platforms (“the CVC Funds”), including CVC Fund VII. CVC Funds hold investments in companies active in a range of fields, including chemicals, common utility services, processing, retail and distribution.
WebPros mainly provides web hosting automation software focusing on small and medium sized enterprises as the end users. WebPros is a provider of SaaS (software as a service) for web hosting, billing automation, infrastructure, server management and online marketing software solutions. Currently WebPros comprises of cPanel, Plesk, SolusVM, WHMCS and XOVI.
