The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition announces that it has received a notification of a concentration from CVC Capital Partners SICA V-FIS S.A., concerning the acquisition of the share capital of Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Inc., Ontic Engineering & Manufacturing UK Limited and Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Asia-Pacific Pte Limited by CVC Capital Partners SICA V-FIS S.A..
CVC Capital Partners SICAV-FIS S.A is a company duly registered under the laws of Luxemburg. CVC Capital Partners SICAV-FIS S.A. with its affiliated and subsidiaries companies is active in the provision of investment advice and/or managing investments on behalf of investments funds and platforms. The CVC funds hold shares in various companies active in various industries, including chemicals, utilities, manufacturing, retailing and distribution.
The target in this concentration is the companies Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Inc., Ontic Engineering & Manufacturing UK Limited and Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Asia-Pacific Pte Limited which are original equipment manufacturers “OEM” for licensed parts and maintenance, repair and overhaul (“MRO”) for old aerospace and defense platforms.
