The companies Total Aviation (Cyprus) Ltd and Petrolina (Holdings) Ltd notified the Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition of an acquisition agreement, whereby Petrolina (Holdings) Ltd would acquire of 100% of the share capital of Total Aviation (Cyprus) Ltd.

Petrolina (Holdings) Ltd is a public undertaking, which trades petroleum products in Cyprus and maintains facilities for the receipt, storage and other handling of such products. Total Aviation (Cyprus) Ltd, was established in Cyprus in 2001 as a subsidiary of Total Outre-Mer S.A. based in Paris and it is active in the sector of fuel supply in aircrafts at the Larnaca Airport.

Following the preliminary evaluation of the information, it ascertain that the notified concentration does not raise any serious doubts as to its compatibility with the competitive market, and thus declared it as being compatible with the competitive market.
