COMMISSION FOR THE PROTECTION OF COMPETITION

The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition received on behalf of Aer Rianta International (Middle East) W.L.L. and CTC-ARI (Holdings) Limited a notification of concentration according to Section 13 of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law (Number 22(I)/99). The notification concerns the acquisition by Aer Rianta International (Middle East) W.L.L. of part of the share capital of CTC-ARI (Holdings) Limited which belongs to ERMES DEPARTMENT STORES PUBLIC LIMITED.

Aer Rianta International (Middle East) W.L.L. is a company duly registered under the laws of Bahrain and is active, primarily, in the operation of duty-free shops and in the provision of administrative and technical services for the establishment, operation and management of duty-free shops in accordance with relevant agreements. Aer Rianta International (Middle East) W.L.L. already owns the remaining share capital of CTC-ARI (Holdings) Limited.

CTC-ARI (Holdings) Limited is a company duly registered under the laws of Cyprus. This company is an investment holding company with subsidiaries which are active in the establishment and management of retail outlets in Larnaca and Paphos airports and in the operation and management of a retail outlet in Limassol port.
