COMMISSION FOR THE PROTECTION OF COMPETITION

The Commission for the Protection of Competition received a notification of a proposed concentration, concerning the acquisition of part of the share capital of Ceske aerolinie a.s. by Travel Service a.s.

Ceske aerolinie a.s. is a company duly registered under the laws of Czech Republic and is the national airline of the Czech Republic based in Prague airport. The main activity of the company is the transport of passenger and cargo by air, and Ceske aerolinie a.s. is a member of SkyTeam Alliance.

Travel Service a.s is a company duly registered under the laws of the Czech Republic which provides scheduled passenger flights through its low-cost brand SmartWings as well as non-scheduled flights. The company also provides private flights and, to a very limited extent, engages in cargo transport.
