Notification of concentration between the companies Guepard Ltd, Mixaline Holdings Co Ltd and ABO Holdings Ltd

The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition on the 15th of January 2010 received on behalf of the companies Guepard Ltd and Mixaline Holdings Co Ltd, notification of a proposed concentration according to Article 13 of the Control of Concentration between Enterprises Law (Number 22(I)/99), concerning an agreement by which these two enterprises will acquire joint control oven the enterprise ABO Holdings Ltd.

Guepard Ltd is a new company which was solely established for the purposes of this concentration. The share capital of Guepard Ltd belongs to Alpha group of companies which is one of the biggest financial and manufacturing groups in Russia.

Mixaline Holdings Co Ltd is also a new company which was solely established for the purposes of this concentration. The share capital of Mixaline Holdings Co Ltd belongs to Mr. Shapanis, who is also the owner of the target company ABO Holdings Ltd. Mr, Shapanis controls other companies which are involved in the investment and travel sector mainly in Russia and Ukraine.

ABO Holdings Ltd only activity is the ownership of 94.95% of the share capital of the enterprise LLC MSL. This company’s main activities concentrate in the lottery sector in Ukraine.
