The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition has received a notification of a concentration according to Section 10 (4) of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law of 2014, concerning the acquisition of share capital of SI FOODS HOLDINGS LIMITED by CVC Capital Partners SICAV-FIS S.A. (hereafter «CVC») via Venetico Holdings Single Member S.A.
CVC, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, constitute the 'CVC Network'. The activities of these companies include the provision of investment advice and/or investment management on behalf of certain funds and investment platforms.
Venetico Holdings Single Member S.A. is a company duly registered according to the laws of the Hellenic Republic and is controlled by the CVC network. Venetico Holdings Single Member S.A. controls VIVARTIA HOLDINGS S.A. which is a food production group.
SI FOODS HOLDINGS LIMITED is a newly established company duly registered according to the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Post transaction SI FOODS HOLDINGS LIMITED will control Dodoni S.A. Milk Farm Industry of Epirus a dairy food production company. Dodoni S.A produces and trades feta and other soft cheeses, semihard cheeses, hard cheeses, grated cheeses, yogurt, butter, fresh pasteurized milk and chocolate milk.
