COMMISSION FOR THE PROTECTION OF COMPETITION

The Commission for the Protection of Competition received a notification by Onexim Holdings Ltd in accordance with Section 13 of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law (Number 22(I)/99) in regards to a proposed concentration. The transaction concerns the acquisition of the share capital of Renaissance Capital Investments Ltd by Onexim Holdings Ltd.

Renaissance Capital Investments Ltd is a company duly registered under the laws of Bermuda. The company belongs to the Renaissance Group of companies which carries the following main types of activities: securities trading and brokerage, investment banking and private equity.

Onexim Holdings Ltd is a company duly registered under the laws of Cyprus.
The company’s principal activities comprise that of an investment holding vehicle, the principal subsidiaries and associates of which operate in the fields of energy generation, real estate, mining, financial services in Russia and worldwide.
