Collusions which have as their object or effect the prevention, restriction or distortion of competition, are expressly prohibited by Section 3 of the Protection of Competition Law, as well as by Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union.

Detection and prosecution of cartels constitute a priority for the Commission for the Protection of Competition. Any information on illegal agreements is so important for detecting and breaking up illegal cartels.
