The Service of the Commission for the Protection of Competition has received a notification of a concentration, according to Section 10 of the Control of Concentrations between Enterprises Law of 2014, concerning the acquisition by Akzo Nobel Coatings, S.L., of the share capital of Industrias Titan, S.A.U.
Akzo Nobel Coatings, S.L. is a company duly registered under the laws of Spain and is a part of the Akzo Nobel group. Akzo Nobel group is active in the production and supply of a wide variety of decorative and industrial coatings. Η Akzo Nobel Coatings is active in the market of decorative coatings under of brands Bruguer®, Procolor®, Sikkens®, Xylazel® και Xyladecor®, etc. The rest of the group companies are active in industrial coatings, including dust coatings, marine and boat protection coatings, aerospace coatings, car paints, wood coatings and special coatings.
Industrias Titan S.A.U. is a company duly registered under the laws of Spain and through its subsidiaries is active in the manufacture and commercialization of paints, enamels and varnishes. Titan Group is active in the manufacture and sale of decorative coatings, protective coatings and fillers.
