Andreas Karides was born on November 12, 1962 in Nicosia.
He holds a degree in Economics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He also holds a diploma in Journalism and for a period of over 20 years he has worked as a journalist and Financial Analyst in electronic and print media in Cyprus and Greece. He has dealt mainly with economic issues and has published a significant number of articles and analysis.
On 24 May 2018, the Council of Ministers appointed Mr. Karides as Member of the Competition Protection Committee for a period of 5 years. | |
