The Commission for the Protection of Competition received a notification of a proposed concentration, concerning the acquisition of part of the share capital of Industrie De Nora S.p.A (hereinafter «De Nora») by The Blackstone Group L.P. (hereinafter «Blackstone»), through BTO feather Holdings S.à r.l..
Blackstone is a global alternative asset manager and operates as an investment manager company. BTO feather Holdings S. à r.l. is a limited liability company, duly registered under the laws of Luxembourg, and is a special-purpose vehicle set up for the sole purpose of investing in De Nora.
De Nora is a company duly registered under the laws of Italy. De Nora and its affiliated companies, are active worldwide in the design, manufacture and supply of electrochemical and water treatment solutions to various industries and business sectors.
